What do you feel when you've reached the end? Sorrow, anger, regret, ...or hope?

I made this in Logic Pro X today with Komplete 11 Ultimate. I'm still playing around with all of the cool stuff it comes with and learning little by little.

EDIT: Thanks for the Front Page on May 5th! Although, it's now May 7th, and I don't see it on the front page. I guess it was a short-lived front page, huh? Oh, well...

RE-EDIT: OK, it's May 26th, and now I see it up on the Front Page. I'm not sure how I missed it before. Thanks, Tom, you are awesome!!! :D

OK, one more shameless self-promotion: some scary music I made for Newgrounds' Art-Inspired Music contest: https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/806417

This is good. Great. Amazing.

But I can't forgive you for using logic. Never logic.
Ableton, Ok, Fl is the best, but Logic?
xD

FateModified responds:

Thanks! I have a Mac and have used Logic Pro X for several years now, and I think it's pretty awesome. I originally wanted FL Studio, but it was not available for Mac.

Love this kind of music, Very well made! :)

Thank you! I'm working on a song right now for Newgrounds' 'Art-Inspired Music' contest. I'm putting a lot more time into that than I did on this one. You might want to check back later when that one's done. You might like it even more than this one. Thanks for listening and for the nice comment! :D

I like the mournful piano opening. It was interesting to hear the odd processor sound coming in on the right side of the balance, I don't think I've heard one in a while that seems to split the stems like that. Many people just do a back and forth, and I think this worked out well!

The simple introduction of the chiptune was nice, I found it helped ease into it. Chiptune doesn't generally come to mind when I think of ambient music, but they way you worked it in worked really well. Congrats on the frontpage, short as it was!

FateModified responds:

Hi, thank you for the review!

I've been experimenting lately with placing different instruments in different positions in the panorama in order to get a more interesting and clearer mix. I think maybe little by little I'm starting to get a better feel for how panning can improve my mixes.

When I started making the song, I didn't plan on the chiptune, but I stumbled upon the setting in Massive and found that it fit really well. It's funny because the way I make music is just by experimenting and trying different things until something sounds good to me.

Cheers! :D
