if I put this in a game it would be a library theme my only problem is the quality
My song for this week (I'm doing weeklybeats.com this year although I missed a few weeks already). It sounds to me kind of like it could be part of an indie video game soundtrack where the game is about discovery and optimism. I guess. XD
I made a YouTube video for this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kyXZZCmE6c
Thanks for listening! :)

Yeah this is nice but I see some volume problems. The beginning is too quiet, if listening in a noisy environment, I have to turn up the volume and then get ear raped later on in the track, specially that synth at 1:24, too damn loud.
Thanks, yeah I kind of noticed that myself after I uploaded it that the lead seemed louder than it should be. So I did some adjusting of volume levels and a bit more EQ'ing to try to balance the mix a bit better. I just now replaced it with the adjusted version so hopefully it won't ear rape anyone anymore lol.
Still, I kind of intended the beginning to be a bit quiet to have a more dramatic effect when the bass and first beat comes in. I listen to a lot of cinematic music and so I have a tendency to use volume dynamics in my songs just like a lot of cinematic and orchestral tracks do, most of which have the same issue if you listen in a noisy environment. I don't know, I just like the effect of the dynamics I guess.
Thanks for pointing all of that out, I appreciate your review. :)
Warning! Warning! My music quality detector has exploded! Good material for sure!
Haha thanks! And man I’m sorry about that. Hope you can get that thing fixed! ;)
What a beautiful intro! The drums are nice and ambient, as well.
As for the actual melody....MMmmmmmmmm
As for your review... Mmmmmmmm <33
