For Newgrounds Audio Death Match Round 1.

I wasn't sure what genre to use, so I just used Fusion since I feel like this is a mixture of trance, rock, ambient, and experimental elements.

At the time I started making this song I had just recently turned in my two weeks notice at my job which I've worked at for over 4 years. I got to work with some really awesome people during that time (shout out to my boy Josh and also Irma Berma, I'm gonna miss you guys the most I think). So NGADM came around and I decided to try to draw inspiration from all the time I've been with that company, 7 years. I often didn't feel like getting out of bed and going to work, thus the lyrics lol. I'm not sure what the future holds for me, but I know music will always be there to help me through whatever is to come...

This is one of my first attempts to record myself playing guitar and to mix it. I'm not a great guitarist, so playing and mixing guitar recordings is something I really need a lot of practice on. I plan on more attempts in the future. :)

I probably spent around 40 hours on making this song. I still need a lot of practice on everything in music production. I've had hearing issues most of this year, but I think I've finally been able to solve that problem, so I plan on getting back into spending more time working on music.
