"I feel it before I see it. Dozens of thick, razor-sharp needles pierce my right leg, sinking into my skin. It hurts like nothing I've felt before, and a strangled scream of pain escapes me. Fearfully, I look over my shoulder, but seconds later I wish I hadn't. It has an earthy body, sharp claws, feral eyes, and a long, ugly, sneering snout. It stares at me..."

This song was written by me with Ableton Live 10 in 2018 for a project I'm doing. I'm trying to write an entire PS1 style RPG soundtrack. I'm thinking I might call the game "Radical Cross", not that it exists. Anywhom, thanks for reading all this, and thank you for listening. Hope you enjoyed. I can't picture a swamp or a particular monster with this. It's more like a feeling of loss/defeat. It's the sort music I would expect to hear during the final moments of a friend's life, while the hero watches his home slowly burn to the ground, or at the moment when villain's plan has succeeded in bringing darkness across the land. Something like that. Then again, maybe that's just me. Either way, it's a fantastic piece of music. I love it when something you upload makes me immediately think of Chrono Trigger without it having to be a remix of the soundtrack.

I must say, that description does fit the bill. It's always fun to listen to music and imagine what it would go well with.

Chrono Trigger and Cross are some of my biggest influences for music. I've probably said that before, but there it is anyway. Yasanori Mitsuda is my hero <3
