This was a battle scene: One of our four protagonists, versus many, many fox-like creatures and their leader, Uro. At the end of the battle, the explosion that occurs blasts the fox-creatures away from the scene, and blinds their leader. Plus, our protagonists were granted entry into the wastes without any deaths. Yay!
