This project is a little bit manic, everything has some form of crushing/redux going on, I wanted to make something that sounded kind of dusty and fit with the whole desert-wasteland sort of visuals I had in my mind at the time, that's the vision I set out with to start with, I may have gotten side-tracked.

I like the poly-rhythm lead in 6/4, the way it feels like it's flowing around the main groove freely is nice to my ears, I decided to cut it short to repeat so it didn't get too overly displaced.

I especially like the dusty, scratchy sounding leads that come in to support the evolved bass-line, also the bass-line itself feeling like it's growing instead of just changing to a new section.

In the final song it doesn't sound like there's too much going on with the percussion, although in the project file there's about ten different instances of percussion samples all doing tiny chunks, being glued together with heavy compression and then sent through a redux to add to the dust.

The sounds in the very back give the vibe I had in mind the most, the sparkly, chime like sounds that become clear in the soft break and the redux-heavy backing melody that plays with both major and minor thirds.

Let me know what you think, votes and reviews are always appreciated!
