I spent most of today putting this track together, the project file crashed a couple times and I had to spend time rebuilding sounds and patches that I'd lost, but I think a cool end product came out of this.

I really like the musical ideas in this track, the syncopated little runs between the main bass notes really stand out to me against the solid and consistent kicks.

Also like the arpeggios that slowly grow over the course of the section, it isn't the original synth sound I had in mind but the sound prior to it was lost into the "I forgot to back up my work like a dumbass" aether.

The bass sounds in this are cool too, really grungy and dirty and then get stripped back to a layered sub during the quieter parts, the differing sections make me imagine being inside a club for the main groove and then what you'd hear from the alleyway outside when it drops back down again.

My favourite parts about this track are the high melody synths that match the rhythm of the bass but play with the harmony, layering with the bass and then a third line harmonizing on top of that a little further back in the mix, around halfway through a little segue back into the quieter section stands out and sounds to me like if a demon had a cheesy ringtone.

The last thing that stood out for me in this track is the outro, stripping it back to the sub and the higher motif so you can really hear the musical ideas that have been supporting the dirt and groove the whole time, with the dissonant, higher, drawn out melody wailing it's way over the top and falling every now and again into the next note.
