Fans of Deemo will be well acquainted with M2U/NICODE's series of "boss songs" named after flowers starting with M: Magnolia, Myosotis, and Marigold. This is my take on the series, since I'm a big fan of their work. Mandragora officinarum, or mandrake, is a hallucinogenic and narcotic plant which is said to cause insanity or hysteria if consumed in large doses.
Would've liked to have gotten this a bit louder, but I mostly avoided overcompression this time, which is good. I hope I did the series justice.

What plugins do you use for orchestration? damn, your composition skills are so amazing!

Miyolophone responds:

Thanks Zelgeon! I used some Native Instruments libraries for the samples— The Grandeur for the piano, Session strings for the staccato strings, and Kontakt 5 factory library for everything else. Nothing too enormously fancy but you learn to work with it when you're not a professional with a giant budget haha
