I'm not a huge fan of the string samples tbh. The drums were pretty good, and it loops well. It has a powerful sort of vibe that you encapsulated well with the thick texture and melodic progression here. However, ironically I think one of the reasons why it sounds like it has such a thick texture is because there's a bit of muddiness between the strings and brass samples. That said, I would love to see you expand on this sometime as I think triumphant melodies like this make for great cinematic content. Maybe the final product of this could be one of your rushed submissions at the end of 2016! ;D

Alright, I decided that it has been a while since I submitted one of my infamous short loops. So I made one!
Yesterday was Black Friday, so I jumped on the opportunity to buy Stormdrum 3. Turns out, it was 80GB huge, and took the whole night for me to download XD
Either way, I wanted to test it out quickly, so I made this short thingey in 1,5 hours. Thus, it's not my most dynamic work, nor my best mixing, but thanks to the epicness of Stormdrum, it still sounds pretty neat, no?
Also, to celebrate that the Newgrounds Audio Player is looping things properly again (at least for me), here's a little loop for ya :)

Admittedly, this is another one of those short loops I put a fairly small amount of effort into. I don't have a problem with the string samples per se, but they could probably have been used better. The percussion sounds a bit like gunshots, but apparently it was effective, as so many people like this track! It also has a bit of an unusual atmosphere, compared to similarly built up pieces.
I don't think I want to go on another rush at the end of this year! I don't feel I need to reach the holy 52 tracks a year this time around. If I somehow get to 50 or 51 naturally, I might pump something out. But otherwise, I think I'll leave it be xD
My rush is now instead. I have so much to work on, I barely know where to start!
Reminds me of a classic Nintendo game. For some odd reason it reminds me of Zelda games, lol Very enchanting yet battle laden. Sweet and simple.

Really digging the overall vibe here, LSD. I'm glad that loops are working properly again, and while this is decidedly short, it gets the job done. I don't really have a lot to say, though a bit more variation to the drum pattern would have made this even better in my opinion. That said, whipping up something this solid over the course of an hour and a half is fantastic.
Congrats on scooping up Stormdrum 3 during good ol' Black Friday! I look forward to seeing what else you do with it going forward.

I totally agree about the percussion, it could be a bit more varied for sure. But then again, I made this in a really short time frame, and the main thing I wanted to check, was how much power I could easily get out of this new library. The answer is, a lot more than with anything I've previously owned XD
