Kingdom of Dragons

Author Comments

This is my 2nd and final song entry submitted for the 2015 Newgrounds Inspired Music Contest under the "STAGE LEVEL MUSIC" category as per the rules given here: http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1390486

Went for a Skyrim feel here but honestly I didn't know what I was going to compose when I first started off. So this is all just some random improvisation. I guess this music could play when you enter the fabled capital city of... THE KINGDOM OF DRAGONS! Why dragons? Well, dragons are cool and also that I suck with song names. Basically imagine yourself exploring the bustling marketplace of the city. Looking to upgrade your weapons, armour or spells? The Capital has got all you want. Looking to join a guild? The Capital has some of the finest guilds in the realm. Feeling brave? Why not visit the Imperial palace where the Dragon Lords reside and start a quest that may put the fate of the realm in your hands... Or if you prefer, go all out GTA on them.

Sample libraries used to compose this were:

Wavesfactory Marxophone
Heavocity Damage
Spitfire Albion
8Dio Adagietto
8Dio Epic Dhol
Kontakt 4 Turkish Ney
Impact Soundworks Stroh Violin
Soundiron Requiem Light
Nine Volt Audio Stickbreakers 1 - 3

This is beautiful. Reminds me of assasins creed kind of. Also reminds me another old game I can't think of. Great use of instruments. I feel the choir could have more attack and reverb or something more to them they don't already have. Great job other than that! :)

I really enjoy this! The mixing and mastering is well done. being a Skyrim fan myself, totally could hear that deep vocal vibe. Good stuff Electron.
