Don't be so hard on yourself. No need to feel embarrassed. I didn't think it was that bad really. One problem I had with the song though, was the cymbals. One was that they sounded like they were cut too short. (their sound didn't sustain long enough) Also, they sounded... lame to be exact. Almost midi like. Or maybe they just didn't fit the song's style? I'd say change the cymbals or even remove them. :o See what sounds best to you. But everything else was good though. It has potential. :)

I have a feeling that it lacks something, void, emptiness. Song could've been much, much better!
