Just good.
Behold, my effort to make an 80's-esque Waterflame song even more 80's - With some squares. (Which is kind of ironic, but to my knowledge hexagon oscillators are not a thing-yet.)
- WALL OF TEXT WITH LIFE STORY (not really) -
I made this transposition rather simply; a skeleton of the work is made from another midi I found. I tossed it into FL Studio, threw together some oscillators with a touch of reverb and went to work refining and extending upon it as much as I could to have it lean truer to the original. (And in a mere 2 days; Ludum Dare mood much?).
I'm honestly quite surprised at what came out since I'm a total n00b even at transposing; Please mind you I am not Waterflame D:. Which goes to show: The drums are GM Kit + Fruity Squeeze (I am greedy and all the *free* 8bit drums are meh) and evidently I gave up being exact after the closing rifts and crafted a Geometry Dash ending (looking at you, level creators!).
Still, I'm happy with the general song and many of the parts sparked as great to me. Hope you like it too!
Also happy 51-day late birthday, Hexagon Force. (I mean why not)
