Great song. The instruments work very well together. They all fit in a different sections of the frequency spectrum. Reminds me of a mysterious jungle, or savannah. Very mysterious mood. Also I like how you use different style instruments, like electronic and acoustic. Western and exotic. Gives a nice complex sound.

Took a while to mix this as I had many effects going on and instruments here - piano, strings, gamelan, percussion drums, congos, bass, sub bass, guitar and pads. This song has a rather slow build up. Everything comes together at around 2mins.
I guess it sounds like a pretty old school soundtrack you would here in thriller/mystery games and anime.
