My thoughts:
We live in an age when communication is instantaneous no matter where you are on the globe and yet we fail to communicate about anything meaningful. We fail to come to an understanding about morality, religion, politics and even the small things in life with the ones we love, and we do so violently.
That is what this song is about. It's my voice in the chaos hoping to bring at least a few of us together. Will my voice be heard?

Recorded with a Rode NT1-A microphone, an LTD F400 guitar, Line 6 UX2 audio interface and EWQL symphonic instrument plugins with my DAW, REAPER.

Woah- Yeah
Our hopes and dreams
Like flames inside us burning

Verse 1
With these ideals and contention
as we move on to a future civilisation
There's no stop, rewind, replay,
There's no way
To undo the past as the future slips away.

Chorus 1
As the wind picks up and the power grows
As we see the world crumble
As our spirit rises and our freedom grows
How can the world crumble?

Verse 2
It's black and white, no distinction
As we are on a path to our extinction
Make a choice to stop and see
On our knees
Before our task if our future's to be free

Chorus 2
As the waves grow high and the end draws near
Can't we see the world's wonder
As our spirit rises and our freedom grows
Now we see the world's wonder

Where will we be in a hundred years from now
Stuck in this cage of hatred
Change is the only way
The only way to live
We'll die together
Or survive forever more

Inspired by Ken Grimwood's "Replay" and Michio Kaku's works on future technologies and civilisations.

I gotta say, as I listened to this song, I really couldn't find anything wrong with it. Not that it's perfect, as no work of art is truly perfect, but for me, I found nothing to really criticize. Every note comes together in pure harmony, and the vocals really work to set the atmosphere of the song. I don't know if you're still active, but I hope you don't mind me using this song in a YouTube video. It definitely feels like something I can fight to.

MetalRenard responds:

Hey, thanks for the comment, I appreciate the kind words. I'm still active, posted a new song only a few days ago. Could you send me a PM with more information please? :)
