holy shit man. this sounds so good.
Written for the VGM Challenge. Theme: Virtual Bond. I chose this one because it's a natural topic for me to write about anyway.
Two lovers would do anything to be reunited. Their tales intertwine but do not touch, their hearts reflecting each other's needs and desires. The eternal distance of space holds them apart.
Finally after their quest comes to a close, their bond brings them together for a final climax as the lovers dance in the void of space.
NEW TOYS!
I made this using a bunch of tools I have never used before that I got in the sales at the end of last year. You can hear new synths and my new drums by 8Dio. They sound incredible but the drums made my project crash a lot and load very slowly. 8Dio helped me fix the issue a little - at one point it refused to load at all! (for 3 weeks...)
holy shit man. this sounds so good.
I REALLY Love this.... Synthwave metal..... I think you just opened my eyes a bit.

Wow, thank you. :) I do love mixing genres. Hehe
I really liked it. I love this genre of music, and always respect the authors of this music. Just wonderful.

Newgrounds VGM Challenge - Virtual Bond: Review
If this is a WIP, i can't imagine how the final product looks like!
The instrumentation is stunning, and the style reminds me of Dash from Arkanoid DS.
0:47 and 3:25 gave me goosebumps, and you centered the concept perfectly; i like also the idea of writing some sort of context in the description.
Apart from the technical assessments, this track resonates within me quite a bit; there is a particular anime called Vandread, centered around a crew of female space fighters who loathe men and formed a society without needing them. I always imagined how their captain would interact with an android that behaves like a man, but has a different heart from everyone else, and as they overcome their struggles, they reach the climax clash, and thrust head on together.
This piece, even if unfinished, was a truly enjoyable experience; very well done.
Thanks for participating!
Hey mutty99, thanks for the review, I finally finished the mix after leaving it to rest for a while (I was fed up with the technical issues). I appreciate the kind words, thank you.
Please contact me if you would like to use this in a project. We can discuss the details.
