Those of you who don't know what a bodhrán is, kindly look it up on Wikipedia. ^_-

@Frootza put forward the idea of him and me having a bodhrán duel in early November 2014. This is the result of said idea. Frootza's bodhrán is the higher-sounding of the two; mine is quite low.

This is our impassioned playing, the result of us being lost in the music. Slips and everything, it's up. We hope you enjoy it.

Composing didn't take a while. Recording did, in that there was a long break between Frootza's take (which was in November) and mine (which was in January). I needed to listen to this a few times so as to get into the groove, and Frootza had already told me he was doing a 90 BPM groove, so I thought I'd follow suit.

My playing was done in one single take. Although admittedly, I sometimes feel embarrassed about the slips -- but many have told me these make the piece human.

The mistakes are nice, although not too noticeable unless you're paying a lot of attention to the details.
