nice

I'm surprised this is sooo long ago, because i just became a fan of you and your newest song "Fireball", and then i started looking at your old projects like this one. Pretty unique. I like the speed. I like the opening melody.

This makes me feel like i'm a showoff X). I don't know why? Still, great job

Like I said before, it's been a while. You might want to check out my review for "Onward Through Chaos" if that's the correct name (total embarrassment if not :s no not really). It kind of gives a quick heads up on whats up.

I'm sure you've heard 'actions speak louder than words' before, right?
My actions give you 4.5 stars :P

It would of been all 5, but the beat is a little flat, catchy, but flat. It needs that...that one thing. A build up! That's it,you kind of kept the same level going without kicking the ball y'know? I will give you credit for doing this in a matter of days, but hey, that's just me :D

Cheers,
-TT

OpenLight responds:

Thanks! I agree, I was disappointed with this song. I'm trying to get something completed that's great, so hopefully that happens soon.

this is wonderful you used your synths and made something new!!! :D I LOVE THIS it isnt forced its smooth and crisp it isn't run of the mill or played out its solid :D i can't wait for the next one.

OpenLight responds:

Thank you!

To borrow the words of a friend: "Very nice. I love this track! It's mixed very well too. I have no criticisms of this. Great job" :D

That's not entirely true, though. The mixing is wonderful. The song is wonderful. But, if you think of it like a plot line, I think it sounds a bit too flat. Maybe it could use more building and dropping of volume and/or intensity in places. I would point to this as a good example of what I'm talking about: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/508619
The difference isn't huge, but I think the impact is significant.

OpenLight responds:

Thanks. I'll keep that criticism in mind for sure! I tried to go for that, but it may have been a direction that wasn't the best.
