Very glad to see this song made front page, thanks. ;}

Believe it or not, I created this whole song within a 9 hour frame. I was in a rush for a NG competition thing. I had the idea for a while, but glad to say this is my first song ever completed within one day.

I was going to go with a complete different style, but then I noticed that there are far too many medieval/fantasy orchestrations. I wanted to try something that is less used. I went for a Western/cowboy time era. It is still fully orchestrated but keeps the sound of those times

I wanted it to keep the classic tone, but give it something very new as well. The start until 1:19 is a person riding off in the dusty lands. 1:20 is a change of pace, It is walking through the harsh and unsuspecting dangers.

I made a creepy sounding western tonk piano as well as guitars playing a theme. So it breaks down until you hear the Hero's theme start up again to the sunset.

It sounds like most orchestrated music these days are don't have that many themes that you can hum every now and then. Its just rising and falling action feeling. I wanted to put in 2 big themes.

Anyway, if none of these melodies stick in your head, give it a 0. Because I still can't get them out of mine.

Enjoy ;}

This is a awsome song.I Liked all the beats and tones.No wonder a song can get so freaking popular because of how it goes

There is so much that I could praise about this song, the piano, the intro, the moment at 3:13.

Now I just need to say my one issue with this piece. The "horns" I hear in the background all through 2:00 to like 2:50 just seem a little much.

Other then that, this is a really high-quality piece of work.

the music was so moving and inspiring that i got a sword like stick and slashed my monitor

will you buy me a new one :D

I really enjoyed this piece, the tempo, and the sense of urgency really helped to suck me into the ambiance it creates, without a doubt It is excellent. It does get a cowboy feel, but at 3:14 I just feel that it all collapses into medieval again, other than that, I could definitely see this in a more modern and gritty western, rather than one when westerns were in their heyday, just a tad too dark.

This is really fantastic. You created a very good rhythm which progresses throughout most of the song. I liked how you managed to switch it up a lot. I especially liked the guitar part starting around 2:42. Before that, it was much more orchestral, but then it came off more western feel which I think went along very well. I like that the first thing you hear is part of that melody before switching into a more classical intro. It was somewhat foreshadowing and I think you incorporated it very well and it sounded very good. This song really is great. I think the melody is terrific and you should definitely keep making music in my opinion, because I'd love to hear more.
