It's been a while, but I managed to spark some creative energy and pump out a track. This is a remix of Something About Us by Daft Punk on their album, Discovery. I used to "unclean" samples to remix this; one of the main groove/riff and one vocal loop (non-acapella). Sorry if they don't sound too polished.

Yes, this is a LONG song, but please, just sit back, relax and enjoy it! It's a dub of the original, from funky French deep house, to a more energetic dance style. These are not cleared samples, as this song is not for sale. I'm very proud of this song, so even if you find yourself not liking it, just know that I still feel like I've achieved ALOT.

I've loved this song since the day it got posted bugg<3 i really have. It's sucha wonderful remix. and it's done by the one and only Buggy(: i <3 this song and the original because it has a deep emotional feeling and has been in my life since the first time hearing it, You buggy, You are my favorite :D

A worthy Daft Punk song remix.

I have loved Daft Punk's Discovery album for a decade now, and this is one of the few fan remixes of "Something About Us" that I actually like. I might go a little far and say that I actually LOVE this fan remix. Great job on making this. I would love to see what you can do with "High Life," "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger," "Digital Love," "Short Circuit," and "Face to Face" in the near future (that is, if you do decide to make fan remixes of them). Keep up the good work!

I did do a remix of Digital Love, but I am ashamed of it as I don't feel as though I made it up to the standard of the original. I may give some of the others a go, but remixing complicated vocal tracks without acapellas and remix stems is very difficult. Thanks for the review :)
