are you using the original song and adding effects to it?
if so, then maybe thats why its hard to get a clean sound.
What I would do (if what i said is true) is completely remake the whole song from scratch if i were to remix something, so you can completely edit it however you want =)
Yeah basically i got the midi of the original and build the whole song out of that. I wrote my own bass line to fit the chords and added effects to make it have the same feel as the original. I don't think i can be bothered doing the whole thing again i would rather start another project and write it from scratch, kinda feel as though using midi's is cheating.

Well you've definitely got something going here, i like the buildup.
It starts off very calm and it just has a nice flow going on all around.
One thing tho, the kick was a bit too quiet and the bass was unfitting honestly, besides that you did a pretty good job on this IMO :)

Yeah the first so many bars of the bass line Fit okay but there's something wrong with the rest of it, I am going to concentrate on that if and when i go back to this project. I basicly want the bass line to fit the bassy sidechain saw.

like what you did in with the clap. Dont really like the change you made in the progression in the beggining. when kick starts up need to add a two and for clap or snare after like 16 bars. decent progression once it gets goin. do like your bass choice but your trance gate kinda lame. would definitely just make it like a straight pad of not gate it. maybe more delay or i dunno trance to me needs a lot of delay and reverb to give it a big powerful spacey feel. definitely got potential just gotta make more stuff, and the voting system fucked just reupload if you want people to hear

really liked the feel of everything untill like 1:20+ ish, that sidechained bass-saw or whatever felt so off, for me atleast.
Overwise really nice song, very well made, but it's all down to ones own individual tastes.
