A little taste of how fighting games had affected me in my childhood, and what they'd taught me to this day...

PS. Marvel VS Capcom 3 kicks your ass! Also, yes... I really got Mortal Kombat (trilogy) on N64 because I took my first dump in a real potty. I was one year old.

kids playin online like they know their combats
when theyre getting fuckin merked straight
murdered and destroyed
when it comes to fighting games im the person to avoid
got mortal kombat just for shittin on the pottie
it was only real gift that my daddy ever got me
and i give him many thanks to this same very day
it was the first real game that i could ever replay
grew a smile on my face when i heard finish him
in love with fighting games so i wrote em this hymn
hoping one day that ill be able to own em all
started acting like sub zero when i went to the mall
been playin street fighter when i could only ever crawl
when i went to class the games corrupted my mind
and when i went home from school i kept myself confined
playing these games was all that i wanted to do
by the time i was five i would breeze right through
playing on the hardest difficulty never really got to me
as i was playing these daily like it became religiously
started climbing the leaderboard very efficiently
constant days inside began to take their toll physically
im happy to admit i was a pretty beefy kid
i dont blame the games though, gave me happiness they did
like yoda did to luke, they kept me motivated
it got to the point everything i saw was pixelated
back to the topic though these games helped me to grow
cause beating up my friends taught me things i'd never know
like who would stick around and who would up and leave
people bailing on me cause games
was shit i just couldnt believe
that was only grade six man i lost alota friends that year
mighta led to my depression and dependance on this beer
fighting helped a lot though taught me theres nothin i should fear
playing all these games helped me make my mind clear
made me forget that mommys addicted to the crack
when i was getting pissed yo i just gave saibot a smack
dad would talk shit cause i got no girlfriends
told him im playing these games until the world ends
