Battle Theme V

The result of another sudden torrent of inspiration. Everything just kept coming and coming, I think I had everything done in a measly 3 hours, and by far, probably the catchiest battle theme I've composed (also the longest of the normal Battle Themes)

I just love how it starts with an epic intro, then it gets all groovy and cool, and suddenly turns into an anime tune xD

After a little bit of thinking, I think my two main influences for this song were FF13's Battle Theme and Grandia III's "ZETEC".... and of course, typical anime music for the second half of the song xD

This really does scream Grandia to me. Having played all the way through Grandia 3 myself (except for the last boss, the only real difficult battle in the entire game), I can say this really brings back memories of blitzing through enemies with overpowered spells on cold winter nights.

AMAZING !

Truly. I really like the "background melody", it draws a constant rythm sounding like something big is happening, yet we're going through it one step at a time - fitting for a briefing situation of a crisis.

Really inspired me to write a scenario I had in mind, thanks a billion !

Not that battle-ish

Still a great job. Sounds like an escape/chase/any other thing with a low time limit theme

it sounds like a chase theme to me.

im counting 2 points off cuz it really doesnt say "battle" to me. it sounds like a chase theme, or an escape theme. except for the ending. anyway, still an awesome song. can you make a final battle theme too? id really like that. :D

This is well done.

I can totally see this in a game like Chrono Trigger or something.
