Love this! I love the incredible cinematic feel of this track. It's unsettling, it's dramatic, it's tense and foreboding. You packed quite some punch in a less than 3 minute track here, Blighter.
A beautifully ominous film score type song with a trace of Tangerine Dream's Phaedra, which mainly comes from the Mellotron that I used for the choirs. I used ProjectSAM's Free Orchestra for the string sections. There is also a church organ in this piece, one instrument that I particularly like as it suits the theme of the album so well. The whole thing is a big, tense, bombastic buildup with a low key ending with some drones and the voices slowly fading out.
This was a quick setup, but I like the end result quite a bit. Let me know what you think.
