The Cult of Testificate 517 (Track 8/17)

A dreary, moody piece with lots of reverb, drones, and distant synth plucks.

It starts off with a single droning soundscape, before slowly, subtile instruments are added. The buildup is slow-paced and brooding and foreboding, yet you can't shake the feeling of an underlying sense of familiarity through it all. "Have I been here before?"

It's kind of like you're experiencing an episode of sleep paralysis while hungover. Your vision is hazy and warped, and you're hallucinating. Is that a shadow figure in the corner of your room? And why are you all of a sudden in a dark, desolate wasteland with a thousand glowing eyes peeking at you through the impenetrable fog?

I really like what I did with the atmosphere and the cinematics in this one. Truly the soundtrack to a strange, hallucinogenic nightmare.

Wow, what an atmospheric track. I really like everything from 1:29 onward. The pulsing saw basses and high-pitched string sections add a cinematic element to an otherwise dark sounding industrial ambient theme.

The fact that you managed to make sounds like this in GarageBand of all things also makes it extra cool.

I'm glad to see you're back producing and uploading music!

BlighterProductions responds:

Thanks dude. There’s gonna be an entire album full of this. Stay tuned!
