Once upon a time, there was a starry sky that was so beautiful, it caught the imagination of a young girl who had just perilously crossed the seas to come here.

It became her light at night-time when there were no other lights.

It became her listening ear for her fears, hopes and dreams when there were few others who would lend ear to her.

Then one day, the starry sky disappeared.

And all her memories slowly faded away with it.

First heard at the close of the inaugural virtual concert of 22 January 2022, I'd actually written this song a good while back, in March of 2020. It was one of those songs that felt wistful and sad to me, but also magical. I wrote it as an ode to the positives of my time as a student in Hatfield. I know it's a long shot, but if any of you are listening to this who went to university with me, or who attended Mass with me and encouraged me on my journey, know that I am thinking about you all.
