Not gonna lie, my original plan for this week was to release this one EDM song I've been working on for a long time, but I wasn't ready to release that yet; you'll probably see that later this month, if not early next month. Stay tuned for that. :D

Anyway, this track is in the same vein as my songs "Heroes" and "Dragon's Madness", with this one being the final boss theme for the DnD campaign I'm running (check out Universal Fantasy on Twitch if you want to watch the sessions; he's a player in the campaign and streams the sessions for me). This one's primarily inspired by David J Franco's "Shadow Showdown" and, to a greater degree, SharaX's "Tokyovania". However, this naturally also uses leitmotifs from my "Dragon's Madness", as well as even from the first draft of my "Heroes".

Breaking from most of the boss themes I've picked out for the campaign, largely being songs by Fractal Dreamers (seriously, check them out if you like the concept of orchestral DnB; nobody does it better than them IMO), this leans more electronic than orchestral, and while DnB elements are present, I went for more of a hardcore tone here, much like "Tokyovania". Definitely keeps the dark tone that I want for this song though, befitting of the character to which this song is a boss theme to. Can't reveal much about the character as of the time of this upload, because I know my players may see this, but... in short: for better or worse, wherever this character goes, vengeance and death follow, and one way or another, it's coming to a climax in this final battle. :)
