So, for a while now, I've had an idea for a story or game of some sort kinda similar to Undertale (though not too much like it; the characters' roles may line up, but the plot doesn't)...recently, I decided to touch on the idea again for the first time in half a year or so, and my method of doing so is by making boss themes and accompanying art for all of the boss characters. As such, I decided to create a soundfont with which to work with on this challenge for myself, from which this song was made. This first one here is the (blatantly inspired by Megalovania) boss theme of the character Warren, who is sort of the Sans of this story. I personally had a lot of fun making this, and I hope you really enjoy listening to it!

If you're interested in reading more about the Warren character:

Warren is also partially based off of myself as well, and such his appearance is basically identical to my fursona (whether or not I want to make the two one and the same, I honestly haven't decided yet, but I have toyed with the idea)...for the record, unlike Sans, Warren is not a physically small character; in fact, he will be one of the larger bosses.

As a fighter, Warren is more up-close and personal than Sans is, is more durable, and primarily uses physical attacks boosted by magic and his natural electric powers; however, Warren lacks Sans' overtime damage and will fail a dodge about 1/3 of the time.

Personality-wise, Warren is similar to Sans, but his sadness is not so much over having seen the pain caused in other timelines (between "resets" and Warren already having memory issues as is, he struggles to remember a lot of specific details of past timelines), but rather because he feels it is specifically his responsibility alone to make sure what he does remember doesn't get repeated, a task that he feels his failure in is inevitable; however, he isn't as good at hiding his thoughts from the other characters as Sans is, and so everyone knows Warren is preparing for some kind of endgame, without really knowing what or why, so Warren ends up a sort of outcast.

Another major problem of Warren's is that he struggles with a sort of second personality (kinda along the lines of Bruce Banner/Hulk's dynamic in the Marvel movies), one which is...put simply, a violent wild animal that, when in control, would have Warren go absolutely berserk on everything and everyone in sight, regardless of who they are. Warren, in this story, tries and (mostly) succeeds in keeping this monster suppressed inside him, but should you ever fight him in a game made from this story, he will have no qualms fully letting this beast take control, as by that point he has nobody to protect from this side of himself, and sees it as a more powerful entity whose power is necessary to stop the impending threat.
