Amazing work!!
Today's prompt was "wood." This was one that my fiancé specifically chose.
I went Hard Mode on this one -- wood could mean the material, or it could poetically mean a forest, as in "woods." I decided to attack it from both fronts:
So I thought hard: wooden piccolo, panpipes, bowed strings, xylophone, marimba, woodblock, and shakers. With that limited instrument combo, I needed to make a theme that brought out my emotions.
I decided to do a more restful, more spine-tingling take on a theme that I wrote for the Beginners' Circle game jam last year that had quite a small success on Twitter, lost in the jungle. I borrowed the opening melody of it, but otherwise, it feels like I'm taking a short rest in a mystical forest where any strange phenomenon could happen.
