A meadow level trope. This piece is unique to the Platformer Concept series, as it was not originally traced on paper-this was drawn digitally from the start. It is otherwise drawn in a similar manner to my traditionally-drawn pieces; meaning that additional details have been added to it. It also has some additions to make it more like a videogame level (namely a HUD, a type of coin that is supposed to be collected, and a bee enemy).
There's not much to say about the original color version, other than there's lots of green, yellow, and white. It is a meadow after all.
Years later, I decided to do a remake of this artwork to measure how my art has evolved / shifted since. This was the second PC remake I had after PC10; and much like with that one; this is a more simple interpretation (no videogame/HUD, Tab --with his current design-- is the only character here). The intent with this remake was to focus more on blending multiple colors together with the brush tool.
