A sand level...at night....with the sun and the moon? What's going on here? Why is the sun so angry? Why is the moon smiling? Are those stars platforms or background tiles*? How is Tab launching into the oasis sky from a sand dune? Why am I asking you all of these questions?!
This one is intentionally more basic in design compared to the others. It's something I've frequently imagined with the idea of a sand location-lots of yellow hills of sand, but oddly enough against a pitch-black night sky. Also used SAI's "paper textures" and "Spread&Noise" tools to make the sand have that appropriately "grainy" look that sand has-which makes it quite unique in visual style compared to past entries.
The original drawing/workprint, meanwhile, originally featured no "star panels" in the background, and had a fair amount of buildings / trees at the bottom of the sand dunes as well.
