MAKE WAY FOR THE POLAR EXPRESS TEAM!
URGENT DELIVERY~!
A new print I've been slowly chipping away at for the month. I wanted to design something to go with that little sheriff duckling + deputy corgi print I have from last year, so here we are!
I actually kept some progress shots this time, too!
My thumbnail sketches start super simple and tiny around 2 or 3 inches tall. This makes it easiest to plan where everything goes, or erase large sections if I want to fix something.
From there, I scan my drawing into photoshop, map out values in black and white, and then use those grayscale values to figure out where my colours are going to go. Once I've got rough colours, I paint over everything digitally!
Since I want to make this an Etsy print, I ended up doodling a little matching sticker to go with it!
Here it is in on my water bottle!
