A Witch's Wrath

Share

The cultist was feeling too proud of himself having the witch of Dunbar in their grasp. Catharine was seething in the chair she was tied too, since the man had cut open her blouse and skirt. The Orichalcum Concatenate had become much more aggressive in their activities. Now had attacked her at her place of work. The man was caught up in their own monologuing on how they were the chosen few who would bring about the new world. Even though it was painfully obvious that his pact with the old ones had taken it's toll on him. Dark purple veins breaking through his overly pale and clammy skin. The poor fool didn’t understand that he was just another disposable pawn for CON to bring about the end of the world.

Meanwhile, Jennifer had stumbled upon them and gave the cultist a surprise beatdown while in the middle of his Monologue. The Albino woman hurried to cut her girlfriend from the chair, but the cultist was back on his feet with tentacles erupting from his arm.

With little options, Jennifer bum rushed the cultists and tackled them back to the ground. To give Catharine enough time to fully free herself. But there was little she could do as she was overpowered by the tendrils that held her aloft in the air as they started to crush her.

As Jennifer cried out in pain, her voice echoed to back to Catharine which sent a new wave rage through the witch.

The cultist looked over his shoulder when he heard crackling energy behind them. The Librarian floating several feet off the ground with green arcane energy arching around her body. The witch’s face twisted in a feral snarl as she gathered more arcane energy to her beck and call roared, “LET HER GO!”

Magic is a powerful tool, and it can become even more powerful when fueled by emotions. However, when strong emotions like anger are channeled. It tends to make the emotion stronger as well. The normally polite and kind Librarian can only take so much until her dam breaks. Especially when her love is in danger. The last thing you'll see is a flash of green.
