History
Born to Anabell Davis and Markus Davis and raised in a semi-rural suburb. They taught her to be self-sufficient, but also the importance of community and helping others. She loved to explore the area and find new and interesting things. However, her curiosity had a tenancy to get her in trouble when she got into a place she wasn’t supposed to be. But to her, that was half the fun. Seeing something you shouldn’t.
While in high school, she joined the newspaper club and exposed several scandals in her school, and even a few in her town. Her friends called her a regular Nancy Drew. After graduating high school, she went to college on a track and field scholarship. During her college days, she also uncovered several scandals on campus and even a city-wide scandal which nearly got her expelled. But she managed to avoid expulsion and graduated with her MA in Journalism.
She will go to the ends of the earth to break a story or to help expose corruption. Like how her dad’s shop was being pushed out by a chain franchise trying to move in and was using underhanded tactics to get him to sell. She exposed their wrong doings, and the company was chased out of the district. Her friends and family say she tends to get in over her head a lot. But she says that’s part of the fun, “If it were easy, it wouldn’t be worth it.” Has been deemed an enemy of several organizations, both legitimate and criminal.
She quit her job as a journalist after too many of her stories were rejected. Her hope of exposing the corruption of several powerful groups and people was crushed by her bosses, fearing the backlash it could cause. She instead chose to focus her energy on people who needed help. She keeps in touch with her previous coworkers and sources. Either hiring her to find information or sending people her way who had work.
