Note: Since Uru and Hado worked side by side with Gido, I won't past the story of Eps. 27 here. The Actions for BOTH Uru and Hado in Ep.28 will be added HERE for the purposes of not copy pasting the same story.

Uru Uru was the second Humanoid Type Saucer Beast. It was colored Red, Purple and Black, with a light Yellow spike and Yellow Horns with a green crystal in the forehead. Two large Spikes adorn the shoulders. Its only weapon were the Tentacles with blades, which were attached to its chest: these will coil around its body to make the UFO mode, with the blades adorning the top and bottom parts. It could also fire laser beams from its eyes. It and Hado Hado were two of the three main Monsters in Episodes 26 and 27 in the anime. Uru Uru is unique among the Saucer Beasts for having no Disk plates to be a major composition from its body, as well it scream when Grendizer killed it.

In the Second parter, Grendizer continues to struggle with the Saucer Beasts, when the system begins to short circuit. Seeing the situation is dangerous, Grendizer grabs Uru by its Tentacles and bashes it onto Hado, the monsters crashed onto a mountain allowing Grendizer to pull back and dock with the Spazer and escape, the Beasts take pursuit, Duke calls the lab to open the Gates, but Umon informs him all were damaged in the attack. Duke then chooses to find a place to hide and releases Anti Radar mist, covering its tracks from the Vega's tracking systems successfully, flying down into a canyon and hiding in a cave the two Beasts just missing him.

Meanwhile Koji fights the Minifos dispatching some of their number, but is attacked by Hado Hado and Uru Uru. He tries to make a stand against it, but the beast damage his TFO. Losing control Koji ejects on a rocket chair as his ship crashes onto Hado, exploding on impact. On the way down he is hit by one of the Minifos.

Side note: I dunno how Koji manages to survive two straight hits when you think about it. One roast him essentially, and his fine, but the second near death experience, he was way high in the sky, like above the clouds high, and survives the fall. I have no clue how da fuck did he survive the fall?.

Meanwhile, after seeing the cave is full magnetism provide further cover, Duke feels he can leave the Robot safely, transforms back and runs back to the Observatory as Vega forces fly all over the place still searching for him. Koji MANAGES to return in a bad state and collapses in the Infirmary. Daisuke arrive and informs Umon a new Air Compressors is required to repair Grendizer.

Sidenote 2: Why does an ALIEN ROBOT need an Air Compressor? Is not a damn car, the problem was from the Weapon system, and this is NOT a mistranslated as even in the Japanese version they say Compressors. What relation it has to a Giant Alien Robot's ENERGY WEAPON ... is beyond me. 70's and 80's Anime Scifi: condeluded, nonsencical, crazy as fuck. Lottaaaaaaa Weed was certainly involve in the writing of those scripts. That's why we love them!

Umon and Daisuke learn of the situation with Koji and the lack of Blood samples: Daisuke decides to donate his to save Hikaru, despite been an alien. The Tran-fusion goes through and Hikaru is save, Danbi been grateful. The celebration is short live however, as the Vega force arrive over the Observatory, with both the Beasts and the Motherburn. Danbi wants to fight them, Daisuke stops him, but recommends that he escapes while the others deal with the Vega: reluctantly Daisuke agrees and escape by jumping into the river, as Blacki and his Soldiers take control of the Observatory. They capture Koji and Umon and one of the Soldiers takes out Danbi. Umon is taken into a spinning machine and later beaten up, as his delivered to the same prison as Koji with severe bruises.

Meanwhile, Hikaru, having develop full recovery, sneaks out of the Infirmary and takes out a guard, there she tell Koji the truth of her knowledge of Daisuke real identity, and he and Umon gave her a message to pass to Daisuke. On her way out she tricks and attacks two more guards.

Sidenote3: If you wonder what's going on, Duke's blood not only her heal her, it made her a fighter, able to knockout a few Vega Warriors. That's the best I can get out of it, as the Doctor who perform the transfusion is surprise by the nature of Duke's blood.

After escaping the Vega, Hikaru finds Daisuke and passes the message: in it, Umon informs Daisuke of a plan to have him distract the Vega out of the Observatory so the COMPRESSOR (not letting this go by the way) can be delivered. Hikaru, chooses to be decoy so the plan can go through, much to Daisuke's protest, and delivers herself to Blacki, who she will guide to Duke's hideout in exchange for the lives of Umon and the others: Blacki agrees and leads his forces, along with Hikaru to the Duke's Hideout.

Sidenote4: BIG BRAIN BOIS, FOLKS! How do they have an Galactic spanning Empire again?!!

Duke sneaks in and takes out the remaining Guards and frees Umon and Koji, and escape with the AIR COMPRESSOR to Grendizer and proceeds to fix it. Elsewhere, Hikaru guides Blacki to a cliff, demanding answers when General Gandal arrives on his transport, informing that the Observatory was empty and the girl was likely a decoy. An enrage Blacki shoves Hikaru over the cliff when our BOIIIIII, flies by and saves her. Blacki then orders all forces to attack Grendizer as he and Gandal return to the Motherburn to supervise the battle. Having full access to his arsenal thanks to the AIR COMPRESSOR, Grendizer dispatches the entire Minifo fleet with no problem, Blacki then orders Uru Uru and Hado Hado to enter the fray.

Uru tangles its tentacles on the Spazer, but Grendizer ejects and rendezvous with Koji to deliver Hikaru and the two escape just before the Beast could kill them. Grendizer grabs Uru when Hado opens fire at him: trying to avoid a repeat of the last fight, Grendizer drags and throw Uru into the Cave, where Hado can't follow. Blacki then orders Hado to bash the top of the mountain to cause a cave in as Grendizer and Uru fight in blade to blade combat. Uru's tentacles get tangled, Grendizer throws its Double Harken, but is repelled by the beast's laser beam, which gets stuck in the ceiling, as Grendizer gets hit by the beam. As the ceiling breaks, Grendizer grabs the Double Harken and cuts the tentancles and impales Uru with it. Daisuke fires Hand Beams, destroying Uru Uru, the monster shrieking as it explodes.

Grendizer then breaks through the cave with Hand Beam to fight Hado Hado: throwing its Double Harken. The beast launches two of its heads and coils around Grendizer. Duke users the Saucer cutters on the Spazer to destroy these, then fires his Screw Punch destroying 2 more of Hado's heads. Duke then unleashes Anti Gravity Storm on Hado, launching the beast onto the hull of the Motherburn destroying it on impact, causing a fire that circles the ship.

Duke unleashes the full might of Grendizer's weaponry onto the Motherburn, destroying its lower tower, spreading the fires inside. Gandal escapes badly burn as Blacki flies straight to Grendizer with his damage ship, as the robot kamikaze itself into the ship firing almost all of its weapons, breaking through, and wrecking everything. The Motherburn then explodes, killing Blacki, his shriek of "Duke" reverberating through the heavens.

Sidenote5: I really hate, HATE, Force Five, cause you guys have no idea how bad they butchered this into a movie. The plot of Koji and Hayashi in space was not in the final cut, nor was the rescue, and the worst part is when the F5 version concludes, it does so with Duke holding Hikaru in his arms, while in her Pilot uniform, I might add, as the sun sets in a scene of absolute destruction, in what I think may had been part of one of the later episodes, if not THE final Episode of the show. So for me watching this is not just re-acquitting myself with a series I hadn't seen in ages, is ME fully discovering what I did NOT get to see way back then. The Force Five and the UFOvGreat OVA were my only introduction to Grendizer. And to end everything on a high note, the animation here is by far one of the best in the series, combat sequences are great, and really characters are well written here.
