Fallout ... At First Sight

Share

For a long time, I've been thinking of doing something silly with these two and Fallout, some crazy shenanigans across "Ze Wasteland". Can't recall what trigger it (Maybe the news of the show when it first came out) but couldn't decided what to pick, since the MCs of Fallout can take various paths of good, neutral or evil.

So I came with one where our Ladies start as the sole human inhabitants of Vault 14 due to the Shenanigans of Burkett, a secretary in Vault-Tec who knew of the incoming bombs.

The Number 14 was picked for their vault number as thus far it hasn't been registered for any of the others (be in cannon or not). Originally, I wanted to pick 214 for their Vault Number (as in 2/14, Saint Valentine's Day, which was the day of the debut of the Pink at First Sight Special), but it seems the Vaults don't go any hire than 121; I then considered 81 for it (the year of the special, 1981), but is already a canon Vault in Fallout 4: interestingly this Vault is where you find Curie, a modified french speaking Miss Nanny Robot that can become one of the various companions to the Sole Survivor and can be given a Synth Body so she can work with people better in the medical field. So that left 14, which is as of yet an unknown Vault.

By the way, the Maid's pose in Panel 1, is a reference to a fan made animation that has the Vault Girl booty posing with the jingle "We at Bethesda know exactly what you want".

Disclaimer Note:

At first sight is a Fan Fiction strip, featuring the House wife and French Maid, two miscellaneous characters that appear in the 1981 Pink Panther Valentine short special Pink at First sight, and are creations of David H. DePatie and Marvel Productions. The name (At first Sight) is a nod to the short they appeared, and I named the two miscellaneous characters as Mrs. (Shanon) Burkett and Miss Orleans for the sake of simplicity, to not just referred to them as House wife and French Maid all the time, as they had no name in the actual short.

Lesson learned. Vault Girl booty is great, but not worth World War III.
