Baru Baru was a Vega Saucer Beast briefly presented during the final act on Episode 3 of the UFO Robot Grendizer Anime – It was Blue and Dark Blue in color, sported two red Bat like wings, with Three legs with Talons and a lizard tail, with a long neck with a snake head in the end with pink eyes. It only known weapons were a Vegan Beam which he fired from his eyes, and the strong grasp of his talons.

The opening of episode starts with Duke Fleed waking up from a Nightmare in where Minifo fighters killed countless of people – Duke later tells of his Nightmare to Dr. Genzo Umon, and wonders why he had such a nightmare on the eve on The an important Anniversary of the White Maiden Farm mounted by a group of UFO enthusiast led by Danbi, to which Dr. Umon is invited. Meanwhile, Blaki takes off on his ship and is instructed to attack the Farm as means to lure Grendizer out, the Motherburn is detected and the lab reports to Dr. Umon, who is on the way to the party with Mr. Yamada, one of the three assistant Scientists, and Yamada is ordered to stay in the Vehicle to keep an watch from any update by the radio, but as the party goes on, Yamada is distracted into it thanks to Bunta's meddling, right as the Motherburn launches the Attack Fighters from the Earth's atmosphere – the lab sends a distress call with no one present to respond. Umon reprehends Yamada, who returns to the vehicle and gets the message, warning the Guests, but too late, as the Vega Fighters Arrive and attack the Farm.

Koji takes off on the TFO to fend off the Minifos while Duke heads to Grendizer, an during the scuffle, Koji is shutdown. Blaki then launches Baru Baru, but his hopes to find Grendizer's hideout are dashed when The Space Observatory releases an Radar Jamming cloud over the region and Grendizer is launched safely and proceeds to engage Baru Baru. The Beast then takes hold onto Grendizer but is repelled by the G-Forces of Grendizer spinning and then cuts Baru Baru's wing with the drill Saucers, then weakens the Beast's hull with Space Thunder and Grendizer finishes it off by ramming itself through the Beast. An irradiated Blaki orders retreat.

_My 5 Cents on this episode_

This is an episode that drags a lot, as the Party in the farm takes over half the length of episode before we get to the action and the monster appears way later than that -seriously, don't expect a lot of action here: by my timing, the fighters don't launch until Min.15:41, but don't make it to the farm until 17:57, with the first shot at 18:23. Baru and Great don't meet up until minute 21:26 and Grendizer kills him by 22:36. The Fight with the beast is just 1 min and 10 secs long of the 25:31 min episode, the rest is filler.

However there are moments of hilarity, as Danbi constantly threatens to hang anyone, in particular the Boss look a like Bunta, who gets near to or asks to dance with Hikaru, showing them the rope in their faces, and I do kinna enjoy the resolution of Danbi blaming himself for the attack cause he thinks the Spacemen were angry at him for not inviting them to the party.

Over all is just Cowboys, Party and an Over protective Father scaring would be suiters for his daughter taking much of the episode.
