The Bakulah were a pair of Insect Kaiju created by Gori who were featured in Episodes 19 and 20 of the Spectreman tv series: "Blood-Drinking Monster Bakulah Appears" and "Find Bakulah's Nest".

_Appearance and Abilities_

The Bakulah were insectoid monsters made out of White Ants, one male and a female, with four arms, are pair legs, with big heads and one single large eye, with three horns on top and sharp teeth on its mouth; its fingers are toes were thing and long; they have wings on their back for flight.

The creatures were able to subjugate people to their will, as well consume their blood. Also, with its flight, the Bakulah could create strong gusts of wind, and could, at least seeing with the 2nd one, grow in size by feeding. The female is seeing firing an energy wave from her mouth, which blocked the Spectre Flash. The female held to a Protozoa creature inside of it and removing it, kills the monster.

_History_

A newly build house unit in the Newtown area becomes the subject of superstition as people begin to disappear when they go inside, but the Real Estate Agent keeps this quiet – the house come to the notice of George and Margaret, looking for a home for Arthur and his Wife, Amy, however he misses the chance when another Couple buys, only for them, and another couple a bit later, to fall victim to the preying entity inhabiting the unit, with the first Couple now becoming puppets to the creature. No one been the wiser that Gori has turned the unit into a deadly trap to enslave people with his newest Monsters.

Finally, desperate, the Agent sales the house to Arthur and Amy; after having a meal in their new home with the Pollution Team, Arthur and Amy soon come under attack by the entities. George, having dropped one of his Nebula Slice, goes back to house to pick it up when he finds the weaken couple and gets them out, just as the other show up to help.

As they escape, the Bakulah breaks through the house, and attacks; George transforms into Spectreman, and the battle is a brief one, with Spectreman killing the creature with Spectre Flash. As he reverts back to George, a second Bakulah emerges, going on a rampage, feeding and growing in the process; Arthur and Amy try to break free from the team to run towards her, but Kurata and the others take them to a hospital to give them a blood transfusion and to sedate them, while George returns to his apartment to recharge.

After a failed attack by JSDF Tanks, a fully recharge Spectreman takes flight to search for the creature after it lay waste to the Newtown area. He finds an substance and takes it to a scientist who identifies as larval jelly that could only come from a Queen White Ant; realizing the severity that a Queen can lay up to a million eggs, the scientist recommends to use fire to destroy the creature, as well kill the protozoa it carries inside. As reports of eggs emerging from across the country emerge, George pin points the location of the nest in Mt. Fuji.

That night, Karas begins to collect the people affected by Bakulah, including Arthur and Amy, in order to feed them to the beast and its eggs. George is informed by Kurata of their disappearance. Along the way, Karas adds more victims to the meal with a group of climbers by ensnaring them and consuming their blood, but Arthur and Amy refuses to help, still retaining a semblance of their humanity in them, with Arthur been beaten by Karas. Learning of the missing climbers on the radio, George transforms into Spectreman and used his Spectre Vision, locating the nest and dives straight into the crater, finding Arthur and Amy; he retrieves them after coming under attack by two of the possess humans and escape; after giving his friends to Kurata and the others, the Cyborg takes a couple of Gas Tanks and tosses them into the Volcano Nest, causing an explosion that destroys the eggs and causing an eruption in the process.

An enrage Bakulah emerges and grows in size to equal Spectreman in Combat; After giving her a smack down, Spectreman tosses her down the mountain, were he beats the Monster up some more, but she tries to take control of Spectreman, the Cyborg uses his Spectre Flash, which she blocks. Realizing he need to kill it by destroying its protozoa. Spectreman jumps on to it and removes the Protozoa thus killing Bakulah.

Later, Arthur and Amy return back to normal, with the former chastising Arthur about having found him a new home, which leads to all laughing.
