Dinosaur Great War Izenborg No9 - Parasa the Parasaurolophus and Tylosaurus

Share

Parasa the Parasaurolophus and Tylosaurus were a set of DinoKaiju seen in Ep.9 of the Dinosaur Great War Izenborg: "A Mysterious Dinosaur's Dead Body!".

Parasa was the only Aquatic agent sent by Ururu, so he could submerge underwater, but this was seen briefly before its death – as well jump high, and could fire a laser beam from its mouth.

The Tylosaurus were a type of mosasaur – they had no special powers, nor were they seem to be intelligent as the other Dinosaurs or affiliated with the Empire as they were recently found, but they were been trained by Ururu and Parasa to attack vessels at sea as guided Suicide torpedoes.

When a Fishing vessel nets the carcass of a Tylosaurus (though they through it back) D-Sqaud takes interest in investigating – but so does Ururu, who sends Parasa the Parasaurolophus to the area, thus discovers the colony of still living Tylosaurus before hand.

As D-Squad explores the area around the island in a sub (with Zen and Barra in it), when they stumble upon Parasa coming out the cave; a brief fight ensues between the Dinosaur and the IzenTransport (piloted by Ain and Ippei) and the Parasaurolophus is force back into the cave, while the sub goes submerges to explore the depths finding another Tylosaurus carcass, this one possessing drums around the neck, but before they could resurface, a crevasse opens under the sub, making it fall to it abyss; the sub is left damage, incapable of using its radio, and oxygen supply running low, so Zen (in a dive suit) swims to the surface where he calls for Ain and Ippei.

Quick note: this is were I dunno what's the purpose of the drums on their necks, due to lack of subtitles – at first I thought them to be respiratory devices, but then I asked myself "why would an aquatic animal have any need for breathing devices when likely it evolve the capacity to hold its breath for long periods of time underwater?", which then I assume the next thing, related to what they were been trained form, likely guided living torpedoes – this is a conclusion Zen comes to later in the episode, with the help of visual imagery.

The IzenUnits are deployed, with IzenOne exploring the cave, where Zen discovers more Tylosaurs with the Drum devices on their necks, concluding they are been trained as guided torpedoes, when they come under attack by Parasa and their battle ensues; meanwhile, IzenTwo helps searches for the Sub to rescue when its magnet anchor is stuck in between rocks; when a boat operated by a Sailor named Eikei arrives and the man jumps into the water to provide him help and is able to release the anchor; Ippei lowers to attack to the Sub and lifts it to the surface.

Quick Note: Eikei is a sailor who was in the fishing vessel when the first carcass was found, and was critical of the captain – when he got news of his trouble, he comes to help. Sorry if I skip this before hand, again, the lack of Subs provides little help to pin point character motivations at times and I'm limit to their actions. Also, I assume the name of the character is Eikei, since it sounded like Eskei, and doing the goggling for Japanese names, "Eikei" is what comes close in producing.

The Sibling IzenCross and take the battle to Parasa in full power; the Dinosaur Jumps into the Water to avoid the Izenborg, but the vessels dives, and slice the Parasaurolophus, its body parts floating in the surface before exploding. Izenborg then turns and uses the IzenBeam, destroying the cave and the presumably the Tylosaurus in it.

After the battle, Eikei and his captain are now in Good terms, and D-Squad departs throwing flowers in the ocean (I assume for the Tylosaurus, since to be fair, they weren't evil, nor serving the Dinosaur Army in anyway, and no vessels were really sunk).
