Garara the Triceratops was the Monster of the week in Ep.15 of the Dinosaur Great War Izenborg, "The Bullfighting Strategy Advance the Burning Friendship!", and was the 26th Dino Kaiju in the shows order of appearance.

_Bio and Abilities_

Garara was another foot soldier in Ururu's army, who was sent to a desert; unlike most other Dinosaur seen in the show, it did not possess any abilities, but was surprisingly strong, with a very resistant skin and could jump very high; it was far more evil than other members of his species and hostile to anyone or anything intruding into its territory, but loyal to Ururu; it had a strong aversion to the color red, which drove him mad to pursuit of its target. Garara had a different color scheme than other Triceratops, giving it a darker mean look that went along with its personality.

_Story_

Garara was sent to the surface by Ururu to – guessing here, due to the lack of subtitles – for a special flower that grows in a cacti in the desert, where he is found by a professor studying these and called for D-Squadfor help; when the heroes arrived, he refuses to leave, even at the request of his son, Kanto. As D-Squad searches for the Beast, a wandering Garara stumbles onto father and son; they escaped on the red color helicopter which the Triceratops attacks, making it crash; Kanto is ejected, but his father died in the explosion; D-Squad arrives to fight the beast, but the projectiles had no effect on it. However, under orders of Ururu, the Monster retreats back to the protection of the Canyon walls.

Later, Kanto blames D-Squad for his father's death and failing to kill the Monster, and decides to take revenge; meanwhile, Zen arrives to the site searching for the Triceratops, where he finds it in the canyon eating the Cacti with flowers; the monster notices Zen and goes after him, when Kanto arrives on a Red Helicopter, carrying a large red color sheet that calls the beast's attention. Trying to get revenge in his hands, he throws stacks of Dynamite in order to kill the beast, to no avail. D-Squad arrives on site once more, after learning of Kanto's suicide mission from his note, and of Zen's solo mission from Ai.

The groups come with a plan to divert the Dinosaur's attention out of the canyon using red sheets, like a matador challenging a bull, until Kanto again interferes upsetting the plan when hi's sheet gets stock in the Monster's horns; the Siblings Cross and are able to save him from crashing with a protective energy shield.

Izenborg-Go faces the Garara as it hunts the IzenTwo; using Folding Cutters, scarring the Dinosaur; the Monster ignores Ururu's orders and captures IzenTwo, but the Izenborg-Go scars the monster again, releasing the 2nd Unit; the Ship then turns around and does a Horizontal Cut, slicing the monster from head to tail, falling into two pieces and exploding.

After the battle, they checked Kanto, and see he is okay; the Characters then part their separate ways.
