This is Neander Nod - he has a bone to pick with someone.

Nod is one of the last Neandertals, eking out a living somewhere in western Europe (modern France most likely). He has traversed many lands in search for better game, yet hasn't had much luck, nor has he found much of his kind along the way. Something (or someone) attacks or perhaps even wrongs him, and so Nod must do what's necessary to survive.

That's more or less what I've got for this angry-looking Neandertal for now, though I plan to continue his story in future artworks.
