I did not want to wait 18 days, like I did last year to express my admiration with fairies and all things folklore.
So when this prompt came around, I thought really hard as to how I could incorporate my love for fairies with patterns. A million ideas came to mind but this is one of my favorites out of all of them. It really has been a while since I messed around with fairy lore, so it is nice when I can just take a minute and ink some out.

Really classy work with this one! :) Looks so clean it might as well have been taken from a book... like a bridge between something Disney could've made and real pin-up art. I like the natural setting, and how it's all framed too. Classy.

Pattern, was such an interesting prompt. There are so many ways to really allow the ink to bring out one's ideas of what a good pattern should be. I was tempted to incorporate tattoos, but I was not sure of body art would be considered appropriate or understandable. So I thought, why not use what would be on someone's foot as inside borders for the piece and the indiscriminate webbing as snares for a fairy. Then voila. This little number came up.
