Good points: The artwork is awesome. Like really good. The satyr seems to have the most character development and the zombie has history with the player, which builds the foundation for how they slowly end up having meaningful relationships with the player. Props for creating the teen-wolf and the vampire teacher, somewhat developed characters with involvement in the story. Not many dating sims bother to create interactive characters that aren't the girls the player can get together with. The lack of dirty pics is also refreshing, because that seems to be an unfortunate staple of dating sims. While having nude pics of the girls would incentivize horny guys to play these games as a free way of indulging in porn, it makes sex the ultimate goal in developing relationships. People need to remember you don't form relationships for the sake of getting physically intimate with others, but to get emotionally intimate instead. Kudos to the creator for keeping this game clean. The attempt at having choices in the game is appreciated, but there seems to be no consequence for choosing the stupid option.
Bad points: The game lacks depth and is too simple. The main character literally has the personality of a hero, seems to be flawless and is the love target of all the girls in the school purely because he is the only human there. Or because he's cute. (Boring.) From Day 1, all the girls (except the satyr) have an obvious crush on the player, including the harpy, which I personally feel should have been a possible love interest so this game would take slightly longer to achieve 100% completion. The crab-girl and the cyclops also need some better character development. The crab-girl is supposedly tsundere, which doesn't really show during most of the game, and the cyclops is just clumsy, which isn't a personality trait so much as just being hazardous to everyone around her. There seems to be no need to build any relationships by buying gifts for any of the girls since realistically all the main character needs to do is just ask any of them out and they would piss themselves in excitement. Talking to the girls doesn't raise their heart levels; only buying gifts will, which means you don't even have to talk to the girls and that's 90% of any possible character development gone. The game is also too short. You can get together with any one girl after 9 days of intense gift-giving and ending the game there. The player should also be allowed to move around school and do stuff other than study, talk to girls, buy them gifts, eat and sleep. Some would also argue that the gameplay gets monotonous after awhile, but with a good enough story and decision-making that has consequences and matters, a simple clicking game can remain fun, even after completing the game thrice. Also, medals please.
Final thoughts: I expected much more out of the game purely based on how good the artwork was. However, I only bothered to find all 6 endings just to be a completionist, and the story was unsatisfying. The game has a lot of potential, and I look forward to a sequel (hopefully a university for monsters so the dialogue can be more sophisticated and because I hated my own high school) with improvements on the abovementioned points.
