This was marvelous, the upsides highly outweigh the flaws. The art is perfectly simplistic, the music couldnt have been chosen better. Gameplay was also wonderful. The only beef I have with this, is occasionally the camera movements were janky. The Controls were rather... unconventional? And the resolution is too high (for it to fit on my monitor completely atleast) Whether or not theres a simple solution to that is up to my laziness, overall excellent work, Henrik and Erik!

Farkin sweet. Fun little game, and I thoroughly enjoyed the switching magic modes. Pretty damn good for a Pixel Day submission.

Overall my impression is negative, it's not a bad game but it just doesn't offer anything you can't find in another, better game. No explanation for what I was doing was a downside, controls could've been tighter (I tried jumping forward and shooting a fireball backward, but he shot it forward instead...), environments were pretty bland so there was nothing to look at, enemies were more annoying than hard (there was no reason to kill them at all so I ended up skipping most of them... and the game totally let me do it). Music was good.

That said, I did finish it. If I finish a game it's because it compelled me enough to reach the end. So you succeeded I guess, congrats.

Sometimes the camera is a bit confusing. Anyway, the game is soo enjoyable and the concept is very cool. Great job guys! :D

Pretty fun, the boss would have been cooler if you had to make use of all the mechanics as it changed colour. Such as lighting it's tail on fire in the red area, working your way over to it in the green area via your platforms etc.
