Reviews for "GRAVITY"

Interesting....this game seems fairly AWESOME!
WOOT!!! ALL MY 5 R BELONG TO DIS!

Primajin responds:

:) glad you liked it

level 14 is just.. i'm sorry. i like the aesthetic of this

main problem is that the core mechanic is unoriginal and not implemented in a unique way. obviously every game can't have its own core mechanic.. but this is really only worse than VVVVVV

please fix level 14. i'm not going to make hundreds of attempts like the reviewer below me. i already paid my dues 106%'ing super meat boy.

Primajin responds:

Hi - I know the core mechanic has been done before, I really just wanted to try my hand at making a gravity flip game. I feel level 14 is fine the way it is, it is difficult but certainly not impossible. Thanks for the feedback though :)

Beat it with 232 deaths. It's crazy hard though. And I think I might've died more on level 14 than the last level. I thought it was impossible before I figured out that you could keep the first missile from chasing you.

There's a sloppy coding glitch, though. It keeps displaying the medal unlocked notification in the corner for the 100 deaths medal every time you die. I hated it because it shows up in the place where you usually have to go right at the start of the level and so it hides the level for you and makes you have to work blind for a moment.

Primajin responds:

Hey, sorry about that I have only just figured out how to get the ng api to work with c2, I'll patch a fix in tonight :-)

I love this, the art is just fantastic, and the idea is great (even if i did see something similar in LD a year or 2 ago ;D).
My only criticism is the amount that you slide after hitting something. Maybe its just me whining about being bad and not being able to judge the slide well, but i feel that in a platformer like this, accuracy is pretty key. It wouldn't exactly be hard to implement anyway, i'm pretty sure this was made in Unity, and it would just take adding a physics material to the floors with higher friction.

Maybe play around with it for next time, see if it makes it more accurate, or maybe just see if it ends up making it too easy?

Anyway, great game :)

Primajin responds:

Thanks man :) - Honestly I felt the motion was quite smooth and not slippery but that could just be me, I'll keep it in mind and maybe modify the physics a bit in an update. It's made in Construct btw :)

Got from level 1 to the last level with only 50 deaths and died a billion times on the last level. Not gonna thank ayone for that....
