Reviews for "Big Dig:Treasure Clickers"

I really like this game, as a person who is completely addicted to any and all idle games, but there are a few things that could be improved upon. For example, this isn't exactly a self-explanatory game, and the lack of descriptions for items and upgrades left me with a lot of trial and error. For example: what is that hand in the shop? What's the difference between dynamite and MEGA dynamite? What do those expensive items I instinctively save up for do?

The whole partner upgrades system is a bit....lacking. The upgrades are SUPER expensive, and I don't really know what they do. Yes, of course I want to get all my partners as high a level as possible but....why? What will happen when I give the dino skeleton to Ralph? Would Eve utilize it better? The upgrades also don't seem to do much in game. It'd be nice to have a numerical value associated with the cost.

Another comment on the partners and their upgrades, though I haven't played for long (I'm only on the second dig), there doesn't seem to be too much "idle" in this idle game. Yes, I could just buy thousands of cups of coffee and let my workers go at it, but they work so slow compaired to the main guy that it just doesn't make sense to let them work without my help. And this gets boring quick. Idealy, clicking would become obsolete about half-way through the game. Autonomy is half the fun of these games, it really puts the "idle" in "idle games!"

Overall, I'd rate this game as an "I've played worse - but I can't tell if I like it....let me keep clicking..."
on a scale of "has this person ever played an idle game before?" to "okay it's been three hours I need to stop." I'm excited to see what you're planing for future updates, and I certianly plan on keeping up!

I'ma give it a 3/5.

It's an okay game for awhile and then it gets really dull really fast.

Music? Is none, sound effects are eh more wanting to turn them off than keep them on in all truth.

Digging, you max out your digging equipment but you only can dig 20, i'm not even done with level 1 and i'm already pushing into the 100+ per slot. Either boost this, or add more upgrades to this to speed it up some.

Money, it's a pain in the rear to obtain in comparison to upgrades, you get 20-50 and yet it requires 8600-100k for an upgrade. Plus you have to dig deeper and deeper to get the same amount of coinage for an even more costly upgrade which doesn't really speed you up to much.

Boot upgrades, Don't put double your money if it only counts for copper. It should flat out say what it doubles and not say everything as it's a lie.

Another issue I had with it was it seems to needlessly drag on...35 items in dig 1, yet on 21 out of 35 and this is after doing quite a few I still have to dig 27 more floors out to get the item. Then i move onto 22 which will add more to it. That's just dig 1...It shouldn't be that much to complete the 1st dig site. Even if you can move onto the others to finish the 1st one it's a lot I can only imagine it's worse on the others which made me in truth quit before i even got past the 1st site.

good game at the beginning but at the end it takes far too long to collect items and the powerups are to few

Huge grind, good for mindless clicking I guess.

Its way too grindy and the pickup hitbox for the small coins is like a pixel wide.
