It seems to me the times for cairo and onwards are a bit... weird. when you go back to the main screen it says 1957 on borneo when I'm at 30500 BC and finding a pest mask o.0 THAT'S ALL MESSED UP. I really liked the accuracy and idea in the first dig, but this is kinda ruining it for me D:
4 Stars, because over time playing yourself becomes way too ineffective, you should be able to upgrade the character dig speed of yourself a bit more.
yes - the history book gets a bit out of order after the 3rd dig. The moon is even worse. I skipped 'history of the moon' class at school !
You're right on the self-upgrading stuff - I quite fancy making it so your guy starts digging in a blast-wave fashion which upgrades. Like it Hulk was an archaeologist.
Great game! Would be nice if you could go onto a different tab and keep the game running though.

TNT does damage to the tiles, so if you configure your lucky mascot to find boots you may clear a level with TNT and go back to the city to buy another stock from the boots you found. Especially on the bigger levels this is a effective way into the triple digits.

I quite like the game. I do agree with the claim that some of the upgrades are totally useless, but it's a fun game never the less.
Gave it 4 stars because the talking loop at the shop drove me crazy!
A very fun, creative, and addictive idler game. I like how there are different time periods and stuff that you can collect from them. I found a WW2 ration book at the 1930 layer, though - a surprising anomaly. Great game!
