I really like this game, as a person who is completely addicted to any and all idle games, but there are a few things that could be improved upon. For example, this isn't exactly a self-explanatory game, and the lack of descriptions for items and upgrades left me with a lot of trial and error. For example: what is that hand in the shop? What's the difference between dynamite and MEGA dynamite? What do those expensive items I instinctively save up for do?
The whole partner upgrades system is a bit....lacking. The upgrades are SUPER expensive, and I don't really know what they do. Yes, of course I want to get all my partners as high a level as possible but....why? What will happen when I give the dino skeleton to Ralph? Would Eve utilize it better? The upgrades also don't seem to do much in game. It'd be nice to have a numerical value associated with the cost.
Another comment on the partners and their upgrades, though I haven't played for long (I'm only on the second dig), there doesn't seem to be too much "idle" in this idle game. Yes, I could just buy thousands of cups of coffee and let my workers go at it, but they work so slow compaired to the main guy that it just doesn't make sense to let them work without my help. And this gets boring quick. Idealy, clicking would become obsolete about half-way through the game. Autonomy is half the fun of these games, it really puts the "idle" in "idle games!"
Overall, I'd rate this game as an "I've played worse - but I can't tell if I like it....let me keep clicking..."
on a scale of "has this person ever played an idle game before?" to "okay it's been three hours I need to stop." I'm excited to see what you're planing for future updates, and I certianly plan on keeping up!
