Pure grind. Really, one of those get the medals and then never play the game again kind of games.
Being that it's pure grind and being that you have to wait a long time to get some of the stuff, it is incredibly annoying to spend all that time and then *not* have medals unlock. I had to play the game through again because of medals it failed to give me the last time I played, and part of the problem with these *really long games* is there's a good chance after hours of play it won't award medals properly anymore. And that's kind of a middle finger to the players.
What you can do, and what I recommend, is shortly before you're going to achieve a medal (not after), you will want to refresh the page and *this* will make it far more likely the medals will award. If you find you've already achieved it but received no medal, it's too late. Clear browser cache and start *all over*, this time taking the advice.
All-in-all this just really isn't a fun game or an original idea.
