Very good job for a first game! A death animation and more levels would be welcome :)

Hmm... The start screen is messed up and all massive for me, but the rest is fine. The art style got a little confusing, with some of it being old 8-bit and others high quality in comparison, like the moving platforms. you could of made the hitboxes for the swords smaller, which really bugged me, but apart from that this game was pretty awesome for a first try :) these are just things that would need checking up on.
Not bad at all for a first effort.
The falling swords coming instantly in the first level are a needless pain in the ass.
Quite fun.
The graphics are actually really good. The music is okay. I'd say get rid of the falling swords or make their drop patterns less random. Or perhaps slower. The character move a bit too slowly and slippery to get out of the way in time. But it's a great start, good job.
Love the effort you have brought into the first game. Nice touch, with the swords and such, but I think that when you jump, if you hit the floating blocks, it should not let you jump above them. Also, you might think about adding a bigger objective then capturing BMOs. Nice, really great job for your first go. I agree with PokeKirbyDeluxe in saying that you should also have an animation with those swords. Ohh, and a boss fight with the Ice King or something.
