Reviews for "Owl (Book One)"

screw that last reviewer

Screw that last reviewer. This story reminded me a lot of The Finding Stone: A Modern Day Parable by Kristin Lore Webber. If you haven't read that book already, you should see if you can find a copy of it online. I know that she has it posted up on her website. This story reminded me a lot of the concept behind The Finding Stone.

definetly something different

and the graphics were really nice - but i couldnt sit and read thru the entire thing. its better off being in a book for kids. =)

Thanks.

Beautiful.

You just don't see this type of thing on NG. It's great, just great. It starts to degrade towards the end though: You keep repeating yourself if you know what I mean.
Where did you get your story from? Did you write it yourself or is someone else doing it for you? Did you have any kind of inspiration?
I can't wait for the sequel. Whatever will happen to poor little Owl?

Virgilcomic responds:

I wrote the story myself, and Adam Tierney helped me start it all off. He wrote most of the Sun and Moon part. As for inspiration, I would mostly list my life, but also a great many number of books, too numerous to mention.

great story

this is great. it makes a really good story and its nice and long. it leaves you hanging like all good storys :/. and its really good in a story sort of way. the text is a bit small tho but thats about all. just pickiness from me. well cant wait til part 2 :)

Excellent work ( whens part II come out???)

ITs only too bad you put this story up on newgrounds where it wont be apreciated as much as it should. I think you should go into childrens book writting and make quite a bit of cash. The story was really well thought out and i found myself really captivated by it and was annoyed when the story didnt finnish and i had to wait for part II! Seriously go and publish a book like this it appeals to all ages (more so kids but adults can still get into it i recon) it'll sell for sure.
keep up the good work

Virgilcomic responds:

Hey, thanks. I'm currently looking into publishing, so wish me luck! And I'm not promising when part II will come out, but I've got the story written, and hopefully I will get it out sometime in October.
